This is what my desktop looked like last night. Out of control. 

“Who are you wearing?” This question was repeated over and over again last night on the Academy Awards red carpet. Many great actors and actresses walked the red carpet wearing dapper suits and couture dresses. Lets be honest, you probably turned off the television after the red carpet was over. The stars definitely pulled out the stops last night. Who do you think was the best dressed? (Please don’t say Natalie Portman)

I want to know who decided that slicked back hair was a good trend for the night. This trend is very hard to wear and can come off as alien looking (I’m talking about you, Giuliana Rancic.) What do you think of this trend? Would you wear it?

Double Trouble

 I am all about the painting the ring finger a different color trend. Now, EVERYONE has been doing it so I thought I would put a new twist on the trend.

 

Also, an update from this post. Below is a picture of my Sally Hansen Nail Strips exactly 2 weeks after application. The only problem I had twords the last week was the part of the strip closest to my cuticles chipped... ALOT.

Love Culture is usually one of those hit or miss stores for me. Sometimes its great, sometimes the clothes remind me of something someone would wear to a 16+ night club.

I was browsing their website recently and came across their shoes and boy, did they have some great wedges. Cute and cheap? I'll take it!

Grammy Fashion 2012

 Wow! I cannot say enough positive things about the Grammy fashion that happened tonight. The celebrities really dressed to impress. There were so many beautiful and fashionable dresses. It was hard to choose my favorites.

 Can we talk about Nicki Minaj? WHAT was she wearing? I don't find this fashion forward or interesting. Just plain weird.

I am expecting some killer performances tonight. Cannot wait!

Sally Hansen Nail Strips

For Christmas 5 years ago my aunt got me nail strips. I had never heard of them before but I instantly LOVED them. Recently, Sally Hansen has came out with a line of them. They have become super popular. Sally Hansen came out with a special edition Christmas line. I found these strips on sale for 2 dollars (originally $8-$10) and I knew I had to have them.

Here are what my red and black plaid Sally Hansen Nail Strips look like. The box claims they last up to 2 weeks. I'm excited to see if they do.

I.LOVE.THIS.COLOR.

My sister ordered this polish from Zoya and today I was finally home long enough to paint my nails. I feel like a mermaid wearing it. It's even more shiny and sparkly in person. If you're looking for a fun color to add to your collection, I highly recommend this one.

Wow. Madonna was AMAZING! The whole concept, production, dancing, costumes, and song choices were on point. I haven't seen a better halftime performance EVER.

Super Bowl 46

Happy Super Bowl Sunday! I am not a football aficionado, but I do enjoy fit men in tight pants, commercials, and the half time show. This year my dad had the TV on for a few hours before the game started and I actually really loved the pre-game specials. They showed interviews with players, their families, as well as other stories such as past superbowls and a cute little lady who knit scarves for all the volunteers. It was actually quite interesting.
